The Te Puke Coast Lions Garden Ramble 2025 was more than just a garden tour—it was a definitive expression of community pride and local excellence. The event, which successfully ran from Friday to Sunday, drew significant attention to the beautiful homes and dedicated gardeners that enrich our township, all while raising crucial funds to Grow Te Puke. This annual event reinforces the vibrancy and passion that makes our area such a wonderful place to live and visit.
We extend our congratulations to the Te Puke Coast Lions Club for hosting a truly outstanding weekend that showcased the very best of our local environment.
Showcasing Te Puke’s Best Backyards
The featured gardens were a credit to the local community, demonstrating immense creativity and dedication. The “Coastal Sanctuary” provided a powerful demonstration of what is possible when design meets ecology. This extensive property, with its native-focused, resilient plantings of Pōhutukawa and Manuka, offered a structured path down to the water’s edge, highlighting the natural beauty of the Coast. It set an incredibly high bar for sustainable, large-scale landscaping.
The more intimate “Artisan’s Potager” offered inspiration for every local resident. This was a beautifully maintained kitchen garden that fused function and form, proving that productive spaces can also be exquisite design features. With vibrant rows of heirloom vegetables—including purple kale and scarlet runner beans—interspersed with herbs and flowers, the garden reflected the owners’ commitment to self-sufficiency and high-quality presentation. The detail in the espalier fruit trees was particularly inspiring for local home growers.
Further showcasing the diversity of our area, “The Tropical Escape” provided a lush, unexpected microclimate. Tucked away from the coast, this garden featured an incredible collection of exotic plants, palms, and bromeliads. The density of foliage and the creative use of water features created a serene, vivid atmosphere, confirming the wide range of horticultural passions thriving right here in Te Puke.
The Vector Group: Archiving Our Success

From Friday morning through Sunday evening, the team captured the beauty, atmosphere, and community spirit through extensive, professional-grade photography and videography. This comprehensive visual archive ensures the success of the 2025 Ramble is preserved, providing powerful promotional materials to attract visitors and support future fundraising, ultimately helping us continue to Grow Te Puke into the future.
