Most of what we share on Grow Te Puke is food: seeds, crop swaps, and gardens you eat from. Funky Foliage Gardens is a neighbour of a different sort — cut flowers and foliage at 43 No. 2 Road, grown by Tony and Karen Hooper.

Picking flowers, not vegetables

They run booked You Pick sessions on Saturday morning, and Friday and Saturday evening. You pick for an hour and a half and pay $2 a stem. It is not a crop swap and not a food-forest tour. If you want a bunch you cut yourself, use their booking page.
