Have you been dreaming of starting your own vegetable garden but feel unsure where to begin? The māra kai movement is all about growing your own food, and we’re here to help you get started. We have 17 spots available for our next intake, with the program rolling out at the end of August and into September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for whānau in the Ōtamarākau and Te Puke areas. We provide and deliver everything you need to establish your garden, including:
- Kiwi fruit bins for your garden beds
- Compost and topsoil to enrich your soil
- Seedlings to get you started right away
Our team will help you set everything up. After that, you’ll be able to maintain and enjoy your māra kai, harvesting fresh produce season after season.
